I bought a new sketchbook that I'm keeping at a specific location, the idea is that everytime I visit that location I'd draw something, cool right?

For this first time, I drew Shen yuan and Shen jiu! you might be able to tell that SY is the one on top, and SJ is the one on the bottom (much like their dynamic in bedCOUGH COUGH) I didn't really mean to let Shen Jiu's hair down, but with the pose I picked for those two, I was kind of forced to, But he wears a half bun much like SY is. If there's ever any changes in hairstyles to differentiate between the two, chances are it's going to be in the bangs rather than the rest of the hair

I randomly remembered an art challenge I saw a while ago where the artist had to turn the hair of the character into negative space around them, I don't know what triggered that memory but it made me want to try drawing someone with it, since typically hair is what takes me the longest in art

I remembered the artist in the video deliberately picking a character with long hair and a flowy dancing pose, so I thought to do the same. The pose that came to my mind fit Shen Qingqiu so well, So that's who I drew, and it was pretty fun to be honest!

I saw this super cute SQQ sculpture made by Txou on bsky and I thought "Binghe would kill for that on a keychain" then I remembered sword charms(??) exist so I gave him one!!

I made a point to give Binghe Zheng Yang instead of Xin Mo, because Post-canon Binghe being able to use it without getting corrupted or sealing its power with tailsmen is cool and all, but I like the idea of Shen Qingqiu returning the sword from the swordmount and Binghe getting to use the sword that was meant for him

Anywaysss, art school requires me to take sculpture classes, which are very tough! especially considering our professor and TAs decided not to explain anything ever, but if i manage to get out of it with my own tiny SQQ (or maybe xie lian? I saw a really cute ferret sculpture of him) I will be a veryyy happy boy

My comfort zone when drawing traditionally is to just draw and shade everything in like, monochrome with one pencil, since that's how I was used to drawing as a kid, I figured I can do that with a twist, and I ended up really liking how these turned out honestly! It's such a simple change that many other artists probably already did, but it made such a difference honestly.

This was really fun and I'd do it again whenever, but I have to remember NOT to pick yellow next time, it wasn't very visible in the light and I had to go over it with like 3 different oranges, and one gold/very light brown color for it to be visible...not that I did that, suddenly I feel like I need to add different types of blue to smc too....

Day seven of Cumplane week! Our prompts today are...free! The official prompt guide said to use previous prompts, and I did! I picked "Youth" and "Parenting", based, of course, on the "return to childhood" extra!

I read a really good fanfic where it was actually the reverse, where Shang Qinghua is the one that got babied and Shen Qingqiu had to take care of him, and I thought 'why not return the favour?'

I was really indecisive on what Bingzu's design should be, I thought about red as an accent color, because it's the color I associate with Binghe the most, and I also thought about using blue as it's system's colors, in the end I saw Hotpotpurple's golden Bingzu design right here , and this design was so pretty and unique compared to the other Bingzu designs I've seen, that I just HAD to take inspiration

Day three of Cumplane week! Our prompts today are "Worldbuilding", and "Soulmates"! For today, I made a comic! I didn't color to finish this faster but i got the idea of making the border be the water which I quite really liked

Day two of Cumplane week! Our prompts today are "Physical Touch", "Alternate Universe" and "Waiting"! I thought we could use some angst today, I wanna save up Alternate Universe for the last day, so we only have the other two prompts to work with

I got markers!! Using them is surprisingly difficult, I was advised by my friend to make a swatch page before actually coloring, which I did, but when coloring it felt like the colors were nothing like the ones in the swatch page. I learned now that it was because I needed to wait for it to dry first before it can be the color I want

but you'll notice alot of the colors are off from the actual ingame Mystic Flour Cookie costume, that's because I ended up trying to salvage my (precieved) mistake by adjusting other colors too, but it didn't work quite as intended whoops...

At least I learned alot from this, I'll be sure to do better on my next try! Even though I hated how it turned out at first, looking at it a couple of days later I realized I actually quite liked it! So all's well ends well I suppose.

I had many theories about his creation, but this was a very pleasant surprise to me, I'm very interested in the implications for that considering Irminsul is set to burn down

Started listening to a reading of Scum Villain's Self Saving System and I am INSANE about it. when I say "Started", I really mean I'm about to finish it in about like 2 chapters (Audiobooks are a crazy way to defeat executive dysfunction)

When I finished this, I noticed there was alot of discussion about Bingzu and stuff (I haven't read the Extra but I know the gist of it) so if anyone thinks this drawing is about Bingzu, thats understandable LMAO. It was supposed to be about Binghe constantly constructing dreams where he and Shen Qingqiu live happily together as master and disciple like the old days, and how he's basically playing with dolls to cope

The Bingzu stuff is cool, I really like the art and fanfiction that came out of it, but I like to imagine it as an AU sort of deal instead of apart of the canon, same goes for the rest of the new Extra. though I will be taking Airplane's real name as canon hehe

The prompt today is "Tragedy vs Comedy"! Whichever one you get is based on which team you're on, if you guessed based on my very edgy preferences, I AM on Team Deceit, so my prompt was Tragedy!

This drawing is based on the painting "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan" by the russian painter Ilya Repin, as soon as I see the word "tragedy" this painting pops into my mind (along with shakespear but i dont remember the shit he wrote) and I felt like it fit Shadow Milk so much, the grief of realizing you lost something precious to you (in this case his old self and everything that came along with it) due to an irrational decision made in anger or sadness, feels like something he'd grabble with while in the process of getting corrupted and embracing his new self fully.

As soon as I saw the costumes, I was in love. I'm quite fond of gothic outfits and I really like White lily so I was pretty happy

At the moment of writing this, the costume's names haven't been translated yet, but according to fan translations: White Lily's costume is called Black Veil of Mourning, while Silent Salt's is I believe is called White Bone Knight, one of the fan translations mentioned that that name refers to another version of the Grim Reaper

I think I already yapped about how much undertale means to me on another artwork's description on here, so I'm not gonna write another essay, but this game really did change my life

I can't believe it's been 10 years already, it feels like no time had passed at all. I feel like Asriel's dialogue in the Fangamer anniversary stream really captures how I feel, it was hard not to cry while watching that moment. Even after all these years, Toby Fox's writing manages to capture my heart so easily.

This comic is based on a silly conversation me and Valen had almost a year before this artfight, where we were talking about potential dynamics between our ocs! We had decided that a Nex + R dynamic would be fun to see, since Nex is a mechanic and has a rather similar personality to R's in-universe counterpart, Elias, with the difference of Nex being a huge coward who would be scared of R. general consensus is that he wouldn't survive this fishing trip alone with R, but rescuing the narcissist coward is what heroes like Leanne are here for!

There's not alot of OCs that wear canon uniforms in this fandom, which is odd considering a majority of the factions in Genshin Impact have distinct uniforms to make modelling NPCs easier.

I attempted a new way of rendering when I made this, I think it turned out well for a technique I was trying for the first time, I can't tell for sure, but I believe it effected how I draw now too

I was trying out a render-sketch first approach with this; the process was definitely a struggle and had ALOT of ugly phases, but I'm glad it turned out like this! I learned alot about my pacing and what order of steps I prefered in drawing while making this.

Though, if I went back in time I'd definitely change the position of the hand. I got so insecure about the hand that I made sure to post the timelapse of the artwork with it on tumblr, just to make sure my followers know that I didn't AI generate it, that's how terrible the hand looked to me

Cranberry Cookie and Sugar Rose Cookie are fan-made children for the ship EternalBerry, or Holly Berry Cookie x Eternal Sugar Cookie

This is the first reference image I've ever created for those two, having drawn them again over and over for tumblr requests did alter their design a little, specifically Cranberry's hat has been removed and Sugar Rose's wings often get simplified or removed

Their designs are based heavily on the MyCookie outfits that accompanied the Eternal Sugar update, only altered to make it more apperant that they're meant to be related to both Eternal Sugar Cookie and Holly Berry Cookie

Humanoid Cookie Run characters meeting their cookie counterparts has always been an interesting concept to me, since most artists and writers just pick either version and create content based on it

Cruise event is a Twisted wonderland fan-event created to celebrate Twisted wonderland tumblr artist, OyaOyaOkay's 3k followers! (congrats)

I thought it would be perfect for my OC Ricker Hook, since he's a pirate based on Captain Hook, and I was right! this event indirectly lead me to meeting more artists that also have Twisted wonderland OCs based on Ricker Hook and other underrated disney characters

This was my fanmade design for Durin before his canon design reveal, based only on his dragon form and a small clip of his appearance from Albedo's quest

I was very disappointed to find out that he would not be using a Chibi Model (Klee, Qiqi, Nahida...) and will be instead using a Short Male Model (Xiao, Bennett, Razor...), I feel like Hoyoverse lost a chance to introduce a "new" model type to excite their fans, but instead decided to confuse their fans further by making a child character the same supposed height as their current adult caretaker.

It interests me the amount of christianity references they've put into both Pure Vanilla Cookie and ShadowMilk Cookie, and I love how it all came together to fit their characters and dynamic even when Pure Vanilla's creation preceeded Shadow Milk's by literal years

Somehow, only a few weeks after I redrew the screenshot, I lost access to my Tiktok due to technical difficulties with my phone, that was definitely a blessing in disguise and I have to thank Blackbell for it if they were the cause. I've never been happier after getting rid of a social media

I'm actually really proud of this. At the time I wanted it to look like those flowy anime drawings you'd find on pinterest, so I tried to study the elements typically found in them, things like flowers, particles, flowing dresses and hair, jumping/flying poses, etc.

I made this right after finishing EP.10 of Crispia, I really wish there were more interactions between Pure Vanilla and Custard Cookie the third, Especially after finding out that they're related. You have a child who hopes to be king and who looks up to his ancestors' long since fallen kingdom, and the surviving king of said fallen kingdom who doesn't see the meaning of the title of "king" anymore. I believe this dynamic would've been an awesome exploration of Pure Vanilla as a character and a good way to take Custard's dream seriously for once.

Oh well, at least my desire for an angsty family dynamics amongst the ancients was fulfilled when I found Dark Cacao and Dark Choco, and later on when the Eternal Sugar update released. Still wish this aspect of Pure Vanilla got explored, though.

This is technically my first actual Cookie Run fanart!

I drew this right after finishing the Town Square Questline, I really thought this ship would be bigger than it actually is considering it had alot of tropes you'd find in popular ships in other fandoms, like "Opposites Attract", "Complimentary Colors" and "Always being seen together". Sadly this wasn't the case and even finding the ship tag was a struggle considering how little posts I found on any variation of the ship tag I tried.

This is an attempt to replicate the Cookie Run Artstyle, I thought it would be easy considering how simple it is but I was surprised how hard it was to get the proportions right.

Coming up with the name for this version of Scaramouche was kinda hard, I wanted to use "mochi" in the name considering it's a treat from his homecountry and one of his creator/mother's favourite food (well, all desserts are, but you get what i mean), but I knew he didn't like sweets and sticky things. I also tried things like "Blueberry Tea Cookie" and just "BlueBerry Cookie" but I didn't think they'd fit him much

Eventually I realized he didn't necessarily have to like his "ingredients", sure the majority of the CRK characters do, but think about it: Do you really like your blood that much? Most people don't really care, and ALOT of people dislike the sight of blood. Uh, this is a weird metaphor, we should stop talking about this now.

Also, did you notice the "beast" sign in the corner? When I started playing, I thought that "beast" just referred to evil powerful characters, I knew they opposed ancients, so in my mind it made sense for Scaramouche to be a beast and for him to oppose an ancient Raiden, I've since learned that this isn't exactly how it worked

I remember this commission pretty clearly, because I got to draw one of my favourites among my friend's roster, and got an amazing reward for it! Steam was having its Spring Sale of the year, and Undertale was only one dollar! You see, Undertale was, and still is, my favourite video game up to date, and it shaped who I am today very signifcantly, but up until this point I was forced to pirate it; as my parents refused to spend money on online games at the time, and in my country I wasn't allowed to pay for things online until I was 21.

Typically, I wouldn't mind Pirating games, but this game is literally the reason why I met my friends and why I decided to start drawing seriously. I've loved this game for over 9 years by that point, and I couldn't miss the chance to finally be able to support the creator, Toby Fox. It's clear that my friend Electr0valence knew how much it meant to me (obviously, since they've experienced my obsession over it first hand) and when they learned of the sale they immediately commissioned me and gifted me Undertale as payment.

While I am aware that them buying me Undertale was considered a payment for my services, and that this was more of a trade than a gift, but I'm eternally grateful for them for this because it really is more than just a game for me, and I hate to say that I actually cried later that night when I saw Undertale in my steam library. Thank you, Valen, if you're reading this!! I really love you bro and I don't know what I did to deserve someone as amazing as you to be in my life <3 /p

White Day celebration! I'm not from a country that celebrates White Day (Are there even many countries that celebrate White Day outside of East Asia?) but I do like the idea of a day where you give back gifts to the people who celebrated Valentine's Day with you, since I've always been awkward about not giving anything back when someone gives me something.

Also, I like the official art that comes out on White day, and I was super disappointed that my favourite character STILL hasn't gotten any White Day artworks. So I took matters into my own hands. (That's a bold-faced lie, I was planning to make this before the Official artworks came out, hehe...)

There was already an Egyptain Miku design when I made this, but it was an Ancient Egypt Miku, and I feel like Ancient Egypt can get over-represented in media (and that's saying alot considering Egyptains themselves are under-represented) so I tried making a more traditional Egyptain Miku

The references I used were for the chat emotes, by the time I drew everything other than the clothes I found out that the birthday art had a different artstyle, and so were the livestream chibis, AND that there were no full body images of Neuvillette and Zhongli in the emote style

Did you know you can mod Hoyogames to replace the models of the characters? Hoyoverse themselves doesn't allow such a thing, obviously, but modding your game was becoming a huge trend at the time, mainly ones where they change the outfit or even the characters themselves.

Thing is, my favourite HSR mod isn't any of those, infact it barely changes the character, it just makes him....pink. Pinkturine!
